Faith in God

Christian faith in God is wholehearted trust in the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It means believing God exists and faithfully keeps His promises, especially salvation through Jesus’ death and resurrection. This faith is a personal relationship involving repentance, surrender to Christ, forgiveness, and the indwelling Holy Spirit. Received as a gift of grace (not earned), it produces obedience, love, hope, and assurance of eternal life
